Every venture begins with a dream, so the saying goes. In 2000 when Key West potter, Grace Epperly returned to her hometown island and starting making pots under her parents raised home, she always had a goal to have her own pottery studio with an attached showroom. Twelve years later, the dream came true!
It began with searching for the right location. After several viewings, she finally settled on 529 Whitehead Street, just one block off the main shopping street of Duval Street and on the walking path to many tourist attractions.
The entire process of procuring the location took a full year with many twists and turns along the way. Once
the lease was signed and approval was given from the City of Key West, the renovations began. In 2 1/2 months with plenty of elbow grease from several local contractors this vacant property went from gutted to glamorous!
